2. Sand the Dented Area

Sand approximately 2 to 5 inches around the dent to create a clean surface for the filler to adhere to. 3. Work the Dent Out

11. Prime the Area

Once the area is smooth, apply a layer of primer to seal the body filler. It’s crucial to apply several coats, as the initial coat will soak into the filler.
